Semi-cured Cheese Macerated in Wine

The semi-cured Montesdeoca cheese macerated in wine is made with the best fresh goats milk from our own herd. This cheese is characterized by exhibiting a good and firm texture that brings out the pleasant taste of goats milk. With salt and acidity perfectly balanced, the semi-cured Montesdeoca cheese macerated in wine also offers a creamy touch and a long aftertaste. To these qualities is added a red-purple rind and a slight taste of wine which invites to have another piece.

Description: product made from pasteurised goats milk to which lactic ferments and rennet are added at an appropriate temperature for coagulation.

Ingredients: pasteurized goats milk, coagulant, calcium chloride, lactic ferment, salt and wine.

R.G.S.E.A.A. 15.03330/TF.

Maturation: 60 days.

Shelf life: 12 months from packaging.

Varieties: Natural, Smoked, Wine, Gofio, Paprika, Oregano, Rosemary, Fig and Cinnamon.

Colour: purple red.

Smell: Characteristic of semi-cured goats cheese at room temperature.

Taste: creamy, lactic, slightly acidulous and with soft tones of goats milk.

Consistency: compact mass when cut, creamy texture.

Rind: macerated in wine.
